What is a Z-Bar (French Cleat) system?
A Z-Bar hanging system consists of two interlocking aluminium profiles cut at opposing angles. One rail is mounted to the wall facing upward, and the matching rail is attached to the back of the object facing downward. When slid together, the rails interlock to form a rigid, highly secure anchor.
How many Z-Bar rails do I need for one frame?
To complete a standard installation, you will typically need two matching Z-Bar rails—one for the wall and one for the back of your frame or panel. Because Metalciti sells rails individually, simply order two of your required size to make a pair, or mix sizes as needed.
