The Houston Z Bar Hanger offers a secure, interlocking system to mount items flush against a wall. The system is composed of two identical Z-shaped aluminium rails of the same or different lengths, which is why we offer them as singles (buy two for a pair). To install, one rail is securely screwed to the wall with its “Z” profile facing up and out. The second rail attaches to the back of your item—such as a mirror, cabinet, or picture frame—oriented in the opposite direction, facing down and in.
This clever design allows the two profiles to interlock seamlessly when the item is lowered onto the wall mount, creating a continuous, robust mechanical grip along the entire length. This method eliminates the need for multiple small, separate hanging points, simplifying installation while ensuring a level, high-capacity hold. Engineered with a 19mm projection, the Houston profile creates a clean gap between the item and the wall, while its 16mm lift-off clearance ensures a stable, secure connection.
