What’s Included
Phoenix Z-Bar French Cleat Hanging Rail, 1000mm (39.4″), Un-Drilled (No Holes), 88kg (Pack of 1)
Sold individually to allow you to create custom length combinations.
The Phoenix Z Bar Hanging System is great for hanging picture frames, securing heavy mirrors, or cabinets. It is made from high-quality aluminium alloy. Its innovative Z-shaped design simplifies setup and ensures a steadfast grip, making it ideal for mirrors, picture frames, and shelves.

You can use two rails of the same length to get a perfectly balanced and uniform hold for a standard item. Alternatively, you can use two or more rails of different lengths to securely fit and balance unusual or custom-sized items. This flexible approach makes it easy to secure frames, mirrors, or panels of any size. That’s why we offer rails individually, not in pairs.
Mix and Match Modular Rail
The Phoenix Z-Bar system is fully modular, so you can pair different rail lengths to suit any hanging project. Because the interlocking cleat profile remains consistent across the entire range, a longer rail mounted to the wall can easily support a shorter rail attached to your frame—or vice versa. This flexibility lets you buy exact quantities, adjust anchor placement around existing wall studs, and create custom configurations without paying for excess hardware.
Examples
These are just examples of how you could combine the lengths; they are not a list of what you will receive. You can mix and match rails of different lengths as you like, such as one 600mm rail on the wall and three 50mm rails on the item, or a 900mm rail on the wall with a 900mm rail on the item, or a 1200mm rail on the wall and two 300mm rails on the item. The only requirement is that all pieces must be the same profile (e.g., Phoenix).
Maximum capacity
Please note this is the maximum weight the rails can take, not the wall or fixings (screws, plugs). In most cases, fixings will fail before the rails. Therefore, when hanging heavy items, please ensure that fixings and the wall itself can support the weight of your item (mirror, picture, artwork, etc).
